Using the tools

Kobra IMG is free to use for personal and commercial work. No licence, attribution or account is required, and there is no limit on how many images you process. You may use the output — compressed photos, converted files, memes, watermarked images — however you wish.

Your content stays yours

Processing happens on your device, so Kobra IMG never receives your files and claims no rights over them or over anything you create with the tools. You are responsible for holding the rights to the images you process.

Acceptable use

Because the tools run on your own device, Kobra IMG has no technical ability to inspect, moderate or block what you process — which makes it your responsibility, not a shared one. You must not use the site to produce or distribute material that is illegal where you are, in particular material that sexualises children, incites violence, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or likeness rights.

You also agree not to scrape, mirror or republish the site as your own service, to drive it with automated traffic at a volume that degrades it for others, or to remove or obscure the notices on these pages. Access may be blocked at the hosting layer where that happens.

The site itself

The tools, the guides, the wording of these pages and the Kobra IMG name and logo belong to Piero Nanni. You are free to use the site and everything you produce with it, but that does not transfer any rights in the site itself: copying the pages or the branding to run a competing service is not covered by the permission above.

Links to other sites, where they appear in the guides, are offered as useful reading. What those sites publish or do is outside the control of Kobra IMG.

No warranty

The tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. Image encoding is lossy in several of them by design, browsers differ in how they decode and re-encode files, and a tool can fail on an unusual or corrupted input. Keep your originals, and check the output before you rely on it for anything that matters.

To the extent permitted by law, the site owner is not liable for data loss, quality loss or any other damage arising from use of the site.

Availability

The site is a static export and may be changed, moved or taken offline at any time without notice. Tools may be added or removed.

Privacy

How data is handled is described separately in the privacy policy and the cookie policy.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the review date below is bumped when it is edited. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated terms apply; there is no account, so there is no other way to notify you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of UK, and the courts of UK have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you use the site as a consumer, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in, nor your right to bring a claim there.

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
